ffVC Tech & Gaming has invested in PandaScore – a startup that provides unique data on esports competitions.

Paris-founded startup PandaScore, which provides real-time statistics based on artificial intelligence in the fast-growing esports industry, collected €2 million in a funding round led by ffVC Tech & Gaming.The renowned European funds VC also took part in the round: Alven and V13 Invest – La Francaise Des Jeux, the second largest lottery in Europe.

The financing round with the participation of ff Venture Capital (ffVC) Tech & Gaming will allow PandaScore to further develop AI technology and increase employment in Poland. The French startup already cooperates with specialists from Poland, and the company’s plans are to open a Polish branch of the company and expand employment with new employees from the IT sector.

The AI technology used by PandaScore allows it to collect data from ongoing e-sports matches in order to analyze the most useful information. E-sports broadcasters can, in turn, use the data provided via API to enrich the broadcast and reception of gameplay among viewers. This tool is also used by the betting industry and allows for a better prediction of competition results compared to traditional methods. PandaScore’s clients include major international bookmakers such as William Hill and Ladbrokes.


The visible increase in interest in e-sports is closely related to the data analytics market. The ability to present statistics during the game allows media companies to show more engaging content. This translates directly into the contracts and sponsorship money that drive the e-sports industry forward – comments PandaScore founder and CEO Flavien Guillocheau.


PandaScore provides data from e-sports competitions including, such games as: League of Legends, DOTA 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Call of Duty, Rocket League, Overwatch, PUBG, FIFA, Valorant and King of Glory. The company plans to expand its portfolio with new titles.
